Rita Ora Launches CHANEL’s Little Black Jacket exhibition in Dubai
On 25 April, CHANEL celebrated the opening of the exhibition The Little Black Jacket, a show highlighting the timelessness and modernity and the CHANEL jacket. Presented at The Venue just a walk away from the Burj Khalifa in Downtown Dubai, on display were over 100 photographs of celebrities and other personalities wearing the iconic piece, selected from the book The Little Black Jacket: CHANEL’s classic revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld.
After exhibitions staged throughout the world during 2012, this unique show joins Milan as one of the first cities in 2013 in which Karl Lagerfeld’s new photographs of celebrities wearing the iconic CHANEL jacket are unveiled. Among featured personalities are Rita Ora, Alma Jodorowsky and Caroline de Maigret who were in attendance in Dubai to see their new photographs first hand. They were joined by Gaspard Ulliel, Haya Abu Khadra and Sama Abu Khadra, also featured in the exhibition. The dazzling after party included eminent personalities from Dubai’s social scene as well as Sheikha Lulu Al-Sabah and Abdulla Al-Kaabi who watched in delight as Ora took to the stage.
The exhibition runs until 11 May and admission is free.
