Reese Witherspoon Purchases $3 Million Home Next to Her Current Brentwood House

Actress Reese Witherspoon and her husband, talent agent Jim Toth, have purchased a four bedroom, four-bathroom house for $3 million. The home is located in the gated enclave of Brentwood, and situated right next to her long-time residence.
Reports recently indicated that Witherspoon and Toth were in the market for a larger home somewhere in the range of $15 – $20 million, however they appear to have settled for a neighboring $3 million home, which is ideally located right next to Witherspoon’s long-time residence.
According to Real Estalker, Witherspoon now owns three adjacent properties in the exclusive Brentwood community – a 7,000-square-foot corner property that she purchased with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe for $4.725 million, a $3.325 million neighboring home she purchased in 2009 after her divorce from Phillippe, and now another 3,053-square-foot neighboring home for $3 million. The actress has reportedly re-landscaped her second property to incorporate it into the existing backyard of the first property.
NCIS actor Mark Harmon’s mother, a former actress and model named Elyse Knox, previously owned Witherspoon’s new home. It is a single-story ranch-style home originally built in 1956. It sits on a 0.66 acre lot and includes three bedrooms and three bathrooms along with an additional staff bedroom and bathroom. There is a brick-paved motor court, a two-car garage, terraces, a swimming pool, a guest house and more.
