Gwyneth Paltrow’s Haute Picks for A Santa Barbara Holiday

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow shared a few of her favorite Santa Barbara hotspots on Goop, a digital media and e-commerce company she founded in the fall of 2008 to share all of life’s positives. Check out where Paltrow recommends you visit during a Santa Barbara holiday.
On the most recent e-newsletter that Paltrow wrote for Goop, she mentions how she spent Easter weekend in Santa Barbara, a town she briefly resided in during college. She calls it “a jewel of a little city” and lists several chic spots to stay and dine including San Ysidro Ranch, El Capitan Canyon, El Encanto, Brophy Brothers, Padaro Beach Grill, Pane e Vino, La Super Rica, and Lucky’s Steakhouse.
Paltrow notes that the San Ysidro Ranch is one of her favorite hotels ever, in no small part due to the fact that she married husband Chris Martin (of Coldplay) here. She also recommends that if you visit Brophy Brothers, the “clam chowder and fish & chips are especially popular here.” At Lucky’s Steakhouse, Paltrow says she “loved the American fare” and they have “great martinis, oysters, steams artichokes with vinaigrette, turkey burgers, tons of sides for the kids.”
Goop has grown to become “an eminent lifestyle publication, dedicated to informing and positively inspiring its audience.” Readers can enjoy exclusive access to recipes, travel guides, fashion, wellness trips, cultural notes, and personal messages posted on the site by Paltrow herself.
