Haute 100 New York Update: Bill & Hillary Clinton Spotted at Lincoln Center Show About former Texas Governor Ann Richards
Bill and Hillary Clinton were among some of the A-list guests that came out for Holland Taylor‘s new one-woman show about former Texas Gov. Ann Richards. And as it turns out, they were also part of the plot!
“The Clintons are both mentioned in the play, during which Richards has a few phone conversations with President Clinton,” a source told the New York Post. The former President reportedly met Richards in 1972 and was overheard telling Taylor that “all of those stories she [Richards] tells about me are true — that’s the way it happened.”
Oscar-winner Meryl Streep, Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and her astronaut husband, Mark Kelly, were also in the audience of the Vivian Beaumont the same night.
