British soccer star David Beckham stars in a new short film by Guy Ritchie to promote his own body wear line for popular retailer H&M.
The 37-year-old soccer star recently announced he would be leaving Los Angeles to play for the Paris-St. Germain club, but before he says goodbye to Los Angeles, he stars in the short film and is seen running through a neighborhood in his briefs. For most of the film, Beckham is wearing only army-green boxers, part of his line for H&M, and bedroom slippers,
The Los Angeles Times reports that Ritchie said, David is the perfect leading man. For me, this felt like more than a campaign – it was like directing a short film.”
Beckham was equally enthusiastic to partner with Ritchie for the project, saying, “I loved doing it and people will get to see me play a role I’ve never done before! It was great to work with Guy, who is an amazing director.”
