Haute Hollywood Filmmakers Turn Out to Fete the Newly Completed Sumner M. Redstone Building at USC

The best and brightest of Hollywood filmmakers turned up to support Sumner M. Redstone on Tuesday evening at the dedication of his new building at USC.

Steven Spielberg took a break from his busy award season schedule to support the Viacom and CBS head honcho, as did Brian Grazer, Leslie Moonves and Julie Chen, Brian Grazer, Lisa Ling, George Lucas and Robert Evans.

“Sumner has far exceeded anyone’s expectations for contributing to the Trojan community,” Spielberg said during the dedication ceremony last night.

It’s true that the new 2,600 square-foot Sumner M. Redstone Production Building at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts wouldn’t have been possible without Redstone’s $10 million donation.

This generous amount isn’t his first contribution to the school, either: in 2010 he dedicated $24 million to the Keck School of Medicine.
