Lynsi Torres, the 30-year-old owner and president of In-N-Out, has just been named by Bloomberg as the youngest female billionaire. Though preferring to maintain a low profile, Torres received some publicity after buying a $17.4 million, 16,000-square-foot mansion in the wealthy neighborhood of Bradbury, California.
Torres took over In-N-Out last year “after several family deaths,” according to LA Curbed. As the granddaughter of founders Harry and Ester Snyder, Torres is the last living descendent and received a trust that gave her half-ownership when she turned 30. She will get the whole company when she turns 35. Bloomberg reports that Torres has “little formal management training and no college degree.”
The two-story Bradbury mansion sits on 4.16 acres of land and features seven bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, a pool, a tennis court, circular driveway, Corinthian columns, entryway with 35’ custom painted ceiling, inlaid marble floors and a dual staircase. There is also a 2,500-square-foot guest house with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a 1,300-square-foot cabana with a full kitchen, his and her baths, a rec room and batting cage, an infinity pool, golf greens, tennis and basketball courts and much more, according to the listing.
Other “hidden billionaires” discovered by Bloomberg News include Dirce Camargo, the richest woman in Brazil, and Elaine Marshall, the fourth-richest woman in American.
