Isabel Marant Boutique Opens on Melrose

Last week Isabel Marant opened a new boutique on Melrose Place in Los Angeles. The first to open on the west coast, the new location features light wood, high ceilings and more.

LA Racked recently confirmed that numerous news sites were reporting last week that the Isabel Marant boutique had opened on Melrose. Boutique 411, WWD and others noted that Marant fell in love with Los Angeles during a vacation in 2010 where she discovered “I really wanted to have a shop here,” according to LA Racked. Marant indicated that her decision to open on Melrose instead of popular shopping location Robertson was based on privacy. Enamored with the leafy stretch of high-end retail, Marant said, “I think it will be my favorite shop in the world. I would almost like to keep it as a house for myself.”

Fortunately for fashion-lovers, instead of personally moving in to the new boutique, Marant has opened her doors to the public from Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Boutique 411 reported that the inside includes similar styling to the Soho boutique, such as “light wood, high ceilings and a very open and airy feel.”

This is the brand’s second U.S. store and 11th worldwide.
