Sure their usual campgrounds have been displaced by the new MAM, but that hasn’t kept the Cirque from heading back to Miami and taking up temporary residence by Sun Life Stadium. They are back this week with Totem, a new show that focuses on humankind’s evolutionary journey from its amphibious origins. In the show, which almost seems made for Florida, science and legend blend with tribal “totems” such as the turtle, which for many civilizations represents the origin of life. See if you can spot characters The Crystal Man, The Scientist and The Tracker through the breathtaking acts everyone has come to know and love the cirque for. The show runs through February 24 and heads to New York after Miami. Tickets are on sale now.
