It was a big night for ‘The Voice’, and not just because it crowned a new winner in Cassadee Pope.

NBC’s reality singing competition series’ two-hour show scored its highest finale yet, delivering 14 million viewers and a 4.9 rating among adults 18-49.

This was due in part to LA native Pope’s popularity on the iTunes chart and the high level of musical talent that appeared at Burbank’s Warner Bros. studios to perform.

Rihanna sang her latest hit, “Diamonds”, while Kelly Clarkson warbled “Catch My Breath” with finalists Pope, Nicholas David and Terry McDermott.

Bruno Mars, Avril Lavigne, Smokey Robinson, Peter Frampton and The Killers were also present at the live show, alongside judges Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and host Carson Daly.
