Mr. Chow is celebrating the New Year by opening its Malibu outpost today.
Its second California location can be found at Nobu’s former home at the Malibu Country Mart; the former moved to a new location back in August.
According to Todd Rick Allen, the new restaurant is going for a more understated “neighborhood” feel.
Two seatings will be available for NYE dinner (one at 6:00pm and one at 9:00pm); they will close on New Years day but reopen on the 2nd for dinner service only.
The $250 NYE menu includes lobster with noodles, water dumplings and green prawns.
