Kelly Clarkson Celebrates Engagement With VH1 Divas Performance

Kelly Clarkson celebrated her VH1 Divas performance in LA on Sunday in a big way…by showing off her engagement ring.

Just one day before the singer had made an announcement via Twitter that her boyfriend of a year, Brandon Blackstock, had proposed…and that she had accepted.

She arrived at the Shrine Auditorium flaunting her new yellow canary diamond wreathed in smiles.

On Saturday she tweeted: “I’M ENGAGED!!!!! I wanted y’all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever :)”.

Her Divas performance was even more animated as she performed her hit “Catch My Breath,” the lead single off her new collection, Greatest Hits: Chapter One.

She was joined at the Shrine by fellow Divas Adam Lambert, Miley Cyrus, Jordin Sparks, Ciara, Keri Hilson, Melanie Fiona, Ledisi and Kelly Rowland; Donna Summer and Whitney Houston were honored in tributes.

Demi Lovato, Stacy Keibler and Elisha Cuthbert attended.

The official afterparty was hosted by Sparks to celebrate VH1’s Save the Music Foundation.
