Haute 100 Update: Jay-Z Attends Rita Ora’s NYC Concert
British pop star Rita Ora was given a huge boost of confidence when she performed at the Highline Ballroom in NYC on Monday night — her label boss Jay-Z was in the audience for the sold-out gig! The hip-hop mogul reportedly hung out in the VIP lounge with pal Big Sean, sipping Coronas and listening to Ora perform songs including a cover of Kendrick Lamar‘s “Swimming Pools.”
“I duno (sic) why I can’t stop talkin about last night it was amazing especially when you got your big brother with you,” Ora posted on Twitter, clearly elated by Jay-Z’s surprise appearance.
Ora signed with Jay-Z’s entertainment company Roc Nation 2009.
