Haute Event: Joe Berardo To Unveil Half Billion Dollar Art Collection and Receive Key To The City At Gary Nader Fine Art

Tonight Gary Nader’s Fine Art Gallery is hosting a private event to celebrate the opening of “Masterpieces from the Berardo Collection,” a showing of Comendador Joe Berardo’s private art collection. Valued at approximately $500,000,000, the collection is chalk full of important Miro’s, Warhols, Basquiats, Koons and Picassos. To cap the evening off, Berardo will receive Miami’s Key to the City from Mayor Tomas Regalado for his contributions.

The show is curated by Nader and serves as an overview of the best modern and contemporary art. It is the first time such a museum show will be presented in an art gallery. For course, it isn’t just any gallery; Nader’s locale is recognized as the largest in the world. The the show will take place on the sprawling second story adjacent to Nader’s own collection of rare Picasso ceramics. The collection will be open and on view to the public from December 5, 2012 through March 30, 2013.
