Dori’s World: Steve Clark’s Black Notes Art Exhibition

Steve Clark’s new exhibition Black Notes presents a series of large scale paintings exploring the boundaries of language and text.

He was Born in New York City, and attended Trinity College where he studied Art History, where he won the John Curtis Underwood Prize for Poetry and began painting.

A Senior Editor for George Plimpton’s The Paris Review (1995 to 2002), Clark published fiction in The Paris Review, poems in magazines (Salinas, Trinity Review), and translated several books from the Spanish and Catalan.

Now his work is in several private collections as well as hanging on the walls of Little House in Mayfair, London. Black Notes is on display at 474 Broadway, 4th Floor.
