Jouer! Luxe Cosmetics Line from Henri Bendel Is Here To Stay

Jouer!  Let’s Play!

Jouer, the luxe cosmetic line that soared at New York City Boutique Henri Bendel, has made its way to the Bay Area, and happily for us, it’s here to stay.

After makings its debut at the Nordstrom Walnut Creek this summer, the playful brand is catching fire.  The “it” brand has been endorsed by celebrities, makeup artists and media outlets across the board – from Harper’s Bazaar and WWD Beauty to the NBC’s Today Show – and here’s why:  It’s all about easy, breezy, mix and match compatibility.

Most of the collection is offered uber cool, sleek interlocking packaging – yes, even the lip gloss and mascara -for click-and-go palette portability. This thoughtful ease continues into the design of colors and finishes. Jouer is makeup that literally requires no makeup artist.

The collection consists of a carefully edited range of face, lip, eye, cheek and body formulated with botanical antioxidants and reparative ingredients that promote a healthy, youthful glow. Pops of color   such as the bold Malibu and Hampton Lip Glosses are sprinkled through the line, yet shades are so silky-sheer that they can be worn alone or layered in any combination.

Christina Zilber, Jouer Cosmetics founder, former model and mom of two, wanted to create a line of makeup that is fun, simple, easy to apply and most importantly, makes women look like the best version of themselves.  “I want to give women of all skin tones and skin types the ability to play with shades that enhance their own natural beauty without overpowering their features.”  She continues, “I’m giving women a smarter, more effortless way to take their favorite makeup with them when they’re on the go.”

Since products are so fool-proof, everyone and anyone can play as they may. Hampton and Malibu, here we come!
