Haute Event: Adam Richman Reveals Details of the World Food Championships

Adam Richman, star of the Travel Channel, visited Bally’s Las Vegas on Wednesday to introduce the upcoming World Food Championships that will be held Nov. 1-4.

Richman explained the origination of the WFC, discussed the championship’s $300,000 prize purse, detailed the seven competition food-categories and previewed the event’s finale that will take place on Sunday, Nov. 4 at Caesars Palace.

The conference included a luncheon that presented the WFC’s category-inspired cuisine. Tastes included: beef brisket, pulled pork, barbeque ribs, grilled vegetables, baked beans and cupcakes. Barbeque dishes were provided by Napoleon Bacerra at Poppa Naps Barbeque, and the cupcakes were catered from Sin City Cupcakes.
