David Myers’ Hinoki & the Bird Opens This December

According to the LA Times, David Myers of the former Sona, Comme Ca and Pizza Ortica is getting set to open a Southeast Asian/Japanese inspired restaurant called Hinoki & the Bird. The Asian fine-dining menu will of course, be mouth watering with selections like willow-smoked tuna, Vietnamese green curry lobster roll with basil blooms and beef grilled on bincho-tan white-oak charcoal with goose-fat fried peanut potatoes and such much more, all with the help of soon-to-be-Top Chef player, Kuniko Yagi. This December, Myers plans to open Hinoki & the Bird.
