Actor, screenwriter, director and musician Billy Bob Thornton has listed his Beverly Hills mansion, which he once shared with Angelina Jolie, for $9.995 million.
Formally owned by Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, the Spanish-style home features 11,000 square feet of living space, a two-story living room, a large dining room, a kitchen, nine bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. There is also a library, an in-home recording studio and a gym.
Thornton and Jolie purchased the home for $3.75 million in 2000 but after their three-year marriage came to an end, Jolie moved out and Thornton stayed in the home. Now he has placed the home on the market approximately nine years after their divorce. Thornton has been in a long-term relationship with make-up artist Connie Angland.
Thornton believes the home may be haunted by a female ghost, and said, “We’ve heard lots of things in the house that just didn’t make any sense. And on my last solo record, there were a couple of noises that didn’t seem to come from any place we could identify.”
