Out and About at Fashion’s Night Out

On September 6, Palm Beach joined in the nationally celebrated Fashion’s Night Out. Men, women and their furry best friends flocked to Worth Avenue on the infamous island to enjoy an evening full of tasty treats, music, glamour, and of course, fashion! Easily, over 1,000 people flooded the three-block radius, dressed to the nines in their Louboutins, Gucci, Prada and Louis Vuitton. After all, this is Palm Beach, dah-ling.

From vintage-inspired makeovers at Saks Fifth Avenue, to the row of Lamborghini’s on a plush red carpet near the doggie fashion show (yes, you read that correctly), there was something for everyone at Fashion’s Night Out in Palm Beach. The Art Institute upstaged all of the competition with their own showcasing of couture dresses made solely of shopping bags! Talk about art being fashion. My favorite stop (naturally) was the one-on-one massage session with the Four Seasons. Ahhhh, shop till I drop? Yes, please!

Over 60 retailers participated in the event, initially created by Vogue in New York City to increase sales during the recession three years ago. Donations were made by merchants such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Juicy Couture to the Make-a-Wish Foundation and the Palm Beach Zoo.
