Vivienne Tam and Hilton Hotels & Resorts Debut Limited-Edition “Water Dragon” Slippers

In celebration of the one-year anniversary of Hilton Huanying Program for Chinese Travelers, Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Vivienne Tam have unveiled limited-edition “Water Dragon” slippers.

The Hilton Hotels & Resorts’ global welcome program for Chinese travelers is one-year old and to celebrate the occasion, Vivienne Tam and Hilton have unveiled exclusive limited edition “Water Dragon” slippers. Designed by internationally renowned fashion designer Vivienne Tam, the slippers are available exclusively for guests of the Hilton Huanying, which is available for tailored welcome experiences for Chinese travelers at 70 participating Hilton hotels in 23 countries. While supplies last, travelers can also purchase the slippers on HiltontoHome.com for $28.

Vivienne Tam said, “To give travelers a sense of comfort, I was inspired by the Chinese Water Dragon when creating these clippers exclusively for Hilton Hotels & Resorts. The Water Dragon bestows optimism, harmony and fulfillment, which are feelings we often seek when traveling. Although we may cross many oceans, home is the harmony within. I’m pleased to provide Chinese travelers staying with Hilton a warm welcome on their journeys.”

The Hilton Huanying program launched in August 2011 and takes its name from the Chinese word for “welcome”. The program offers services and amenities tailored to Chinese travelers.

The Water Dragon slippers feature a mirrored design of two inward-facing blue dragons surrounded by a turquoise “sea”. Made of soft terry cloth with plush cushioning at the toe, the slippers are available in men and women’s sizes.

According to Dave Horton, global head of Hilton Hotels & Resorts, “Vivienne Tam’s East-meets-West signature design philosophy aligns with the authentic and contemporary experiences we share with our guests around the world. Caring for travelers with a global perspective and providing a warm welcome through programs such as Hilton Huanying are at the heart of who we are.”
