Day of the Week LA Dining: ‘Sunday Suppers’ at Mercato di Vetro and ‘Lazy Tuesdays’ at Bagatelle

West Hollywood is starting a trend of using the days of the week as titles in two new prix-fixe menus. Recently, Bagatelle got rid of its regular dinner service for its newest addition of Lazy Tuesdays which will of course be served every Tuesday. The Lazy Tuesdays’ prix-fixe menu features a four-course Euro menu that includes a summer melon salad, marinated hangar steak, smoked trout and banana cheesecake, all for the price of $45.

Just this Sunday, Mercato di Vetro unveiled its Sunday supper series that features a three course menu that includes a bread basket, plates of antipasti like aged salami with mozzarella, a different main course every week from a sock-eye salmon and roasted chicken; including a dessert of gelato or bombolini. In addition to the Sunday Suppers, wine is available from $5 a glass to $20 a bottle, with Grey Goose Peartinis at $10 and Peronis at $5.
