Shanghai Tang and Shourouk Team Up to Create China-Influenced Label

This season, Shanghai Tang a Hong Kong-born, luxury retailer creatively collaborated with Parisian jeweler Shourouk, the label founded by designer Shorouk Rhalem, a Tunisian native.

The fine jewelry collection includes necklaces and brooches made of brass, enameled stones, embroidered natural stones, leather, Shanghai Tang textiles and Swarovski Elements once inspired by contemporary pop and Chinese symbols, but now recently inspired by “The Dragon Plateau,” Shanghai Tang’s A/W 2012 women’s ready-to-wear collection.

Shanghai Tang has proven itself to be quite a fashion house with its latest partnership with Shourouk, but as well with former collaborations with Nespresso, Moleskine and Colossi Cycling, including artistic collaborations with artist Huang Rui and of course, charitable partnerships with Pink Revolution, Save China’s Tigers, and Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, pushing the branding of the Shanghai Tang name in the world of style, philanthropy, culture and art. We look forward to see what the label has up its sleeve for the next season.
