Haute 100 NY Update: Trump Bumped From G.O.P. Convention Thanks To Tropical Storm Isaac
Whatever surprises Donald Trump had up his sleeve for his appearance at the Republican National Convention in Tampa will remain a mystery: another last minute party crasher, Tropical Storm Isaac, forced organizers to cancel today’s portion of the convention and Trump’s appearance.
Trump’s role was confirmed last week after the real estate bigwig and Celebrity Apprentice host posted a cryptic tweet about plans for a trip down to Florida. His appearance was to take place on the first day of carefully choreographed pageantry and to coincide with the portion of the event dedicated to savaging President Barack Obama’s record.
