Mark Shand is in hot water over spicy sauce. The former 40/40 chef is being sued for $1.5 million by Jay-Z’s nightclub over allegations he stole recipes upon abruptly leaving the kitchen. Shand was hired earlier this year to freshen up the upscale sports lounge’s food menu as part of 40/40′s $10 million general revamp. (He nabbed the gig after cooking for Mrs. Jay-Z, Beyonce Knowles, on her concert tour.) He left shortly after that, ““costing the club lost profits, loss of good will [and] alienation of clientele.”
