    1. Press Club

Press Club is a stunning setting where one can experience many wineries all in one place. One can visit different counters for tastings or order full glasses at the various tables/sitting areas. They also offer delicious food pairings such as cheese plates, a charcuterie platter, and chocolate desserts. The architecture is gorgeous and the decor is modern and upscale. Press club is a beautiful venue to throw a private party.

    2. District

District is the wine bar in SOMA with the best looking crowd.  The after-work scene is always buzzing at this beautiful space. The wine bar is in the heart of the space with high tables on one side and lounge seating on the other. Contemporary street-inspired art lines the brick walls, and the modern chandeliers give the space warmth despite the high industrial ceilings that make it feel like a cool converted factory.  Most importantly, wines are divine.

    3. RN74

How can one go wrong at the luxe wine bar of the Millenium Tower?  RN74 is a haute, spacious, tastefully designed area with ample seating - ideal for apres-work wine or cocktails. The wine list is quite extensive; don't be surprised if takes awhile to look through the book that lists over 3,000 bottles!  You can also peer up at the last-bottle board--an electronic train board from Italy that ticks out a list of 100 bottles under $100.

A highly recommend place for date night!

    4. Bar Agricole

Bar Agricole was selected as a 2012 James Beard finalist for Outstanding Bar Program for a reason. Rather than trying to recreate the wheel on every cocktail, bartenders here generally look towards the past for inspiration.  Aside from the creative cocktail program, this "Urban Tavern" offers a carefully crafted selection of French wines.  Between the wine, cocktails and bites, you'll surely return again and again.

    5. Terroir Natural Wine Merchant

Dark, rustic and comfortable - this is the best way to describe the dimly lit romantic vibe of this lovely wine bar.  Terroir boasts an excellent selection of small production natural wines from Europe & California.  The wine list is incredible; natural wines are a perfect example of the obscure and delectable selections this city gem has to offer.
