Haute Living loves a great excuse to shop and Modewalk, curator of all fine craftsmanship creations, is hosting a trunk show benefiting SFMOMA and honoring an icon in both worlds of fashion and photography, Cindy Sherman. This is the time to pick up those Thierry Lasry sunglasses!
Cindy Sherman has worked with Balenciaga, Comme des Garcons and Marc Jacobs. She transforms herself into characters using hair, make-up and wardrobe, pulling the viewer into a vignette of a life unknown. Similarly, one can argue that a fantastic dress can really transform the wearer into a work of art.
