Haute Event: Ferrari Owners Group Rally Promotional Drive through SF

With only 3 months until the Ferrari Owners Group (FOG) Charitable Organization launches for its annual rally down to L.A., they threw a fabulous promotional event at the Fairmont Hotel.   The Fairmont closed off the street and had over 50 Ferraris parked in every color, from classic Rosso Corso to a sleek Tour de France blue and in every model, from a ultra rare and valuable 250 California Spyder to the newest 458 Spider.   They even had a special challenge 458 delivered and which may or may not have taken a deafening hot lap around the hotel.  Shhhh we won’t tell if you did or did not.

FOG members mingled with the crowd and tried to encourage people to donate to their cause of the year:  Blue Planet Network.   Blue Planet Network’s objective is to bring sustainable, safe drinking water to rural communities in developing nations.

After a brief meet and greet, they went to complete their main objective of the day: to raise awareness for the rally and for Blue Planet Network.  Gentlemen, start your engines.  The operatic scream of 50-something Ferarri engines could be heard by all throughout San Francisco because with beautiful Italian sportscars had a police escorted drive throughout the city.   They hit up all the scenic spots such as the steepest street in San Francisco.  For those in Union Square or North beach,  the echoing of the engines were deafening as they roared through the tunnels.
