Green Bay Packers wide receiver and “Dancing with the Stars” champion Donald Driver, in town yesterday for his Donald Driver Tenth Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament, celebrated with celebrity pals in splendor on Friday night with an after-party at Wynn Las Vegas.
The party began with dinner at the new Mizumi at Wynn Las Vegas. Driver and his wife, Betina, received guests including ESPN’s Ed Werder and Linda Cohen, actor Glynn Turman, actress Dawn Lewis, Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle Colin Cole, actress Jenn Korbee, Kato Kaelin and actor Phil Morris of “Seinfeld” fame.
The group was greeted with a smile and handshake by Mizumi executive chef Devin Hashimoto. Inside, with a breathtaking view of the Mizumi waterfall, the party enjoyed a selection of chef Hashimoto’s Japanese offerings including spicy King crab roll, softshell crab cut roll, dragon roll, mushroom salad, yellowtail jalapeno gelee, robata platter, miso black cod, togarashi crispy Maine shrimp, chicken teriyaki, and beef teriyaki.
The festivities then moved to Surrender Nightclub at Encore Las Vegas, where Driver and his group were joined by more celebrities including “Dancing with the Stars” pro-dancers Peta Murgatroyd, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Cheryl Burke, Alexis Bellino with husband Jim Bellino of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” (who partied earlier in the day at Encore Beach Club), and actresses and former DWTS contestants Katherine Jenkins and Maria Menounos. Grey Goose and champagne flowed for the party of 75 more-than-comfortably situated in two luxury bungalows with views of the beautifully lit three-tiered pools and the famed Vegas Strip.
