Hip-hop legend Diddy hosted at Tao Nightclub at the Venetian with sounds by DJ Five on Friday night. The music connoisseur posed for some photos on the red carpet before heading into the restaurant with his group to quickly fuel up for the party.

Once making his way into the nightclub, he immediately caught the eye of guests as the entire crowd’s attention shifted toward his VIP table on the dance floor. Tao gave him a nice warm welcome; DJ Five shouted out his arrival, the bottle fairy made a special delivery to his table as a breakdancer performed on stage and “Diddy” sign was held up by go go girls before a giant mass of confetti rained on the dance floor.

Soon enough Diddy was joined by Swizz Beatz, Shawne Merriman, Ray J and former N’SYNC manager Johnny Wright as they all stood on top of the booth taking in the packed club scene. As camera phones filled the air, Diddy jumped on the mic and shouted out his good friend Swizz Beatz, exclaiming, “Give it up for Swizz Beatz! He is one of my best friends in the game, and for the first time in history, me and Swizz are going to go back and forth, song for song, hit for hit.”

The two battled it out, singing along and hyping the crowd as a playful competition erupted.  DJ Five dropped hip hop anthems one after the other including Diddy’s classics “All About the Benjamins” and “Mo Money Mo Problems.” Diddy and Swizz headlined the room as they entertained the crowd and frequently stopped to say a few words. “I always have a good time here at Tao. These guys have been doing it for a long time. Shout out to Noah Tepperberg and Jason Strauss. I love coming to Vegas,” said Diddy. “Don’t nobody party like we party.”

Later in the night Diddy’s girlfriend, Cassie, also joined his table as the group danced the night away. Before making his exit, Diddy invited everyone to party with him all weekend. “I’ve never been to a pool party and on Saturday I’m going to be at Marquee. Meet me there. I’ve been doing crunches. Also, Cassie is having a party at Lavo tomorrow,” he said.

At Marquee, actress Hayden Panettiere was seen at VIP table with football pro Mark Sanchez.

A popular hangout for athletes, JR Smith of the New York Knicks, Roger Mason of the Washington Wizards and Brandon Rush of the Golden State Warriors, as well as former basketball pros Tyronn Lue and Damon Jones were all spotted at Marquee Nightclub at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
