Beyonce was named Best Female R&B Artist at the BET Awards in Los Angeles last night, but lost Best Video to her husband Jay-Z. Jay and Kanye West took the video award for “Otis,” and also nabbed Best Group for their blockbuster collaboration “Watch the Throne.” But the star of the show was the late Whitney Houston, who was found dead in her bathtub at the Beverly Hilton in February.
