Fours Seasons Hotel Will Open Dubai Resort
Plans for a new resort property in the heart of Jumeirah Beach are underway through a collaboration between Four Seasons Hotel & Resorts and UAE-based holding company Bright Star LLC. This eagerly anticipated addition to Dubai’s luxurious hospitality scene is currently under construction on a beach front location within the Jumeirah Beach vicinity featuring easy access to Sheikh Zayed Road. It’s expected opening date is mid-2014.
The Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah is being developed by Bright Start and H&H Investment and Development, which oversees $500 million in real estate assets. The new resort will be situated on an 11-acre (4.45 hectare) natural waterfront site along the Arabian Gulf and is being designed by renowned architect WATG in collaboration with interior design by the San Francisco-based BAMO. The property will boast 237 rooms, in addition to 49 suites targeting a mix of business and leisure guests and will also be home to at least three restaurants including poolside dining. Five meeting rooms and a 600 square meter (6,458 square foot) ballroom will also be included on the premises.
Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach will be the global hospitality company’s latest addition to the development of several properties within the region, which includes a property in the UAE capital, Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi Sowwah, Four Seasons Resort Oman, Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, Four Seasons Hotel Doha at The Pearl and Four Seasons Hotel Jeddah. Fours Seasons was founded in 1960 by Isadore Sharp and currently has 86 properties in 35 countries and more than 50 projects under development.
