To kick off the ESPYs Awards tonight at the Nokia Theatre, the sports and entertainment industries’ finest raised their glasses to celebrate this year’s nominees, as well as ESPY award-nominee Lindsey Vonn and her 16 career World Cup Crystal Globes titles.
The world champion skier arrived in a Red Bull branded party bus, as she ditched her ski gear and opted for a sexy little black number by Guess by Marciano.
“The 16th title feels just as incredible as the first one. I’ve had a lot of ups and downs in my life, so this season was especially sweet. Every year brings new challenges so you just have to do the best that you can,” says Vonn. “It’s very humbling to be recognized for something you’re really passionate about, so I’m honored to be nominated for an ESPY and look forward to seeing all the best athletes [tonight].”
NFL players Terrell Owens and Clay Matthews (Green Bay Packers), Jimmy Clausen (Carolina Panthers), Amobi Okoye (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), Bret Lockett (New England Patriots), NBA player Kris Humphries (New Jersey Nets), actor Mark Salling (Glee), and Dancing with the Stars’ Cheryl Burke and Jaleel White, attended the Red Bull, Under Armour and Oakley-sponsored party on the 21st floor of Elevate Lounge in downtown LA. Guests enjoyed passed appetizers, cocktails by GT Vodka, Barefoot Wine & Bubbly, and sweet treats by Chef Waylynn Lucas of Fonuts, while DJ Spider and DJ Kedd Cook kept the crowd on their feet.
