The 2012 RM Auctions Monterey sale just made an impressive addition of two GT40s to the lot.
A 1968 Ford GT40 Gulf/Mirage P/1074 and an unrestored 1967 Ford GT40 MK I P/1059 will headline the sale on August 17 & 18 in California.
“The legendary Ford GT40 is without doubt one of the most celebrated and sought after motor cars ever built,” Shelby Myers, Managing Director of RM California, said. “To have the honor of offering one GT40 is a great privilege, but to present two, spanning both sides of GT40 production, is extremely exciting.”
