Sail to New England at Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens

Summer is now officially here, and that means the Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens have undergone their seasonal change from spring to a slice of the Northeastern seashore. Now through Sept. 9, the conservatory features a blue and white lighthouse with a rotating light as well as live performances by classical and jazz guitarists daily from 5 to 6 p.m.

Among the displays, a rotating carousel, egrets, floral frogs, ladybugs and soaring balloons can be discovered. The rocky shore of the coastal pond boasts the perfect habitat for a sailboat, truly representing an American summer.

In conjunction with the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art’s exhibit “Claude Monet: Impressions of Light,” the Conservatory has created a floral interpretation of Claude Monet’s Cap Martin, Near Menton, comprised of 1,000 flowers. Located in the Giardini corner, the recreated painting is fitted within a 6-foot tall elaborately carved frame.

Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is complimentary and open to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
