Priscilla Presley Attends LA Debut of Elvis Musical ‘Million Dollar Quartet’

One very special guest was on hand at the opening night performance of Million Dollar Quartet on Tuesday night.

Elvis Presley’s ex-wife, Priscilla, was in the audience at the Pantages Theatre to watch the musical. It is based around an infamous recording session her deceased husband had with Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins.

The Tony Award-nominated show centers on a-one time only gathering of the four rock ‘n roll icons at Memphis’ Sun Records in 1956. It features hits such as Blue Suede Shoes,” “Fever,” “That’s All Right,” “Sixteen Tons,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Walk the Line,” “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On,” “Who Do You Love?,” “Matchbox,” “Folsom Prison Blues” and “Hound Dog.”

Film icon Sharon Stone was also in the audience last night at the Broadway show’s Hollywood debut. The musical has a limited two-week engagement at the Pantages, running from June 19 – July 1.
