It seems as though Haven South Beach has become an unofficial location for NBA Finals viewing parties. In attendance at the highly regarded gastro-lounge, was none other than basketball legend Michael Jordan, who cheered on the HEAT for Game 2. Jordan and friends enjoyed Stoli cocktails and munched on some of the delicious sliders created by Executive Chef Todd Erickson. As an unexpected surprise, ABC aired a throwback commercial in tribute to Michael Jordan, to which the venue responded vehemently with cheers of, “Jordan, Jordan!” Following the narrow win, Jordan was overheard predicting a HEAT championship.
For game two, Haven featured Stoli HOT Vodka as HEAT enthusiasts watched the game on a wraparound screen that consists of 110’ HD TVs. Stoli promo girls were on hand to give fans a complimentary taste of Citrus Inferno cocktails and Stoli Hot & Sticki shooters.
Seven games bring seven dollar treats with “The Big Three” menu available during the Finals. Try a jalapeño infused FeVer cocktail, chicken wings with a homemade hot sauce or the Mexican “Hot” Chocolate: liquid nitrogen ice cream with cayenne pepper, coriander and cinnamon. Other favorites on the menu are the Jerk Chicken Skewer (or any of the skewers really), the Duck Duck Quail Slider and the uniquely presented Grilled Cheese.
If the HEAT can bring home the championship trophy, Chef Todd Erickson and Stoli HOT Vodka will host a victory party immediately following the win, which will consist of a one-hour Stoli HOT open bar. In the meantime, Haven will be broadcasting Game 3 at 8pm on Sunday, June 17th.
