Haute Event: The 66th Annual Tony Awards

Hollywood and Broadway’s favorite stars graced the red carpet last night at the The 66th Annual Tony Awards in New York City’s Beacon Theatre, presented by Audemars Piguet. The Tony Awards, hosted this year by Neil Patrick Harris, honors excellence in Broadway theatre.

Amongst the stunning line of stars that attended were Jessica Chastain, Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield, Stockard Channing, Audra McDonald, Amanda Seyfried, Paul Rudd, Nick Jonas, James Marsden, Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness, Sheryl Crow, Bernadette Peters, Corbin Bleu Ricky Martin, Matt Stone, Trey Parker, Cynthia Nixon and more.

Notable wins included Best Actress in a Musical winner Audra McDonald for her performance in “Porgy and Bess”, Best Actor in a Play winner James Corden for “One Man, Two Guvnors”, Best Actor in a Musical winner Steve Kazee for “Once” and Best Actress in a Play winner Nina Arianda for her performance in “Venus in Furs”. Hugh Jackman was awarded the Spcial Tony Award for his work and dedication onstage.

“Once”, a celebrated new musical based on the Academy Award-winning film took the cake for Best Musical.
