Since longtime home owner Monte Factor, an art collector, philanthropist and haberdasher of the stars passed away at age 94, this past December, the lovely hacienda that he once lived in has been listed at $4.35 million. In 1929, this property was built by John Winford Byers, a high school teacher and Santa Monica architect right next to the Gibbons-Del Rio estate located conveniently on Kingman Ave. According to the listing, the Spanish-style home includes four bedrooms, three baths, two fireplaces, beamed ceilings, tile and hardwood floors, a separate guest house with bath, koi pond and a pool, all on 3,579 square foot.
