Design District Welcomes Cartier to the Neighborhood

This summer, the Design District will welcome yet another luxury brand to its already budding repertoire. A Cartier boutique is set to open in the Melin Building come August, joining forces a number of fellow designers already planning to make the Design District their new home.

This June, Cartier will also be introducing their next timepiece within the brand’s Tank Collection: the Tank Anglaise. This new addition follows the rectangular trend of Cartier watches and is perfectly streamlined in accordance to the previous Tank watches. Available in three sizes, the Tank Anglaise will be available in a variety of gold options adorned with diamonds or without.

After closing their Bal Harbour doors last year, Cartier’s move to switch locations is one that many designers plan to follow. The new location proves to have a plethora of potential for becoming the newest destination for high-end retailers. Fashion enthusiasts and shopaholics will undoubtedly get their fill of designers. Alongside Cartier will be Christian Dior, Fendi, Bulgari, Pucci and Marc by Marc Jacobs. In addition to the LVMH brands, Tom Ford, Zegna and Burberry are also expected to be added to the mix.
