When Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber throw a party, they do so in style.
The stunning couple threw a pre-4th of July bash at Rande’s Malibu restaurant, Café Habana, on Thursday night. The evening also happened to be sponsored by the restaurateur’s newest business venture, Caliche Rum.
The summer soiree transformed brought the sultry ambiance of Puerto Rico to the Southern California hot spot. Guests sipped on signature rum cocktails before and during dinner, and after danced to sultry beats by DJ Mr. Best.
John Corbett, knowing that a good time was to be had, was the first to arrive and the last to leave. The Sex and the City actor was the life of the party, mingling with all guests and showing off his dance moves to Michael Jackson’s “PYT.”
Sean Penn also arrived early and spent the evening presiding over a central outdoor table with music producer Rick Rubin and hockey player Chris Chelios.
Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin arrived around 8, just a half hour after the pre-holiday party kicked off. They chatted with the hosts while noshing on lobster ceviche and sipping on Cali Ginger cocktails.
Fran Drescher arrived with actor D.W Moffett arrived together and spent most of the evening happily ensconced at a back table, but also made time for pal Rinna.
Most of the haute Hollywood crowd stayed late, drinking and dancing until 2AM.
