Chef David Myers to Create New Restaurant for The Century

David Myers has a haute new project: the celebrate chef will bring a new restaurant to the Related Companies’ Luxury Condominium Tower.

His cuisine of choice will be a hybrid of California and Asian, inspired by his explorations of the Silk Road.

Said Myers: “The concept for this exciting new partnership with The Century is my take on all of the food that I love in Asia, combined with our amazing California ingredients and farmers.

“The menu will be a collection of my travel memories throughout Asia, housed in a setting that is truly unique to Los Angeles.”

The decor will also blend the two hybrids seamlessly. The LA-based Modern Arc. Inc. designed space will take on an eclectic urban townhouse feel, with minimalistic Japanese touches and an open kitchen. Light wood furnishings, aged brass and open-grain dark floors will lead to a 60-foot window overlooking a green living wall.

The space is located on the first level of the 42-story condominium building designed by architect Robert A.M. Stern.Patrons will arrive through a separate valet entrance from those that the private residents use.

An expansive terrace provides an organic extension of the modern dining room, for an outdoor setting that is at once bright and vibrant yet luxurious and relaxed. Located on the first level of the 42-story masterpiece designed by renowned architect Robert A.M. Stern, patrons will arrive at the restaurant through a dedicated valet separate from the private resident entrance.
