Celebrate Father’s Day With Aston Martin at Rodeo Drive’s Concours d’ Elegance

Aston Martin is the feature marque for this year’s Rodeo Drive Concours d´Elegance and it isn’t a surprise, given that 2012’s theme is “THE BRITISH ARE COMING!”

The annual father’s day tradition features a variety of vintage and racing cars and motorcycles that line Rodeo Drive. The cars will be showcased north of Wilshire Boulevard to Santa Monica Boulevard. Gearys Beverly Hills will be the presenting sponsor in celebration of its new Rolex store opening on Rodeo Drive in this month.

Aston Martin will serve as the centerpiece of the 200 block of Rodeo Drive on June 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The 30 block of Rodeo Drive will host a variety of other British classic and racing autos including Austin Healy, Bentley, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lotus, MG, McLaren and Rolls Royce, and a special British motorcycle area will honor Triumph, Vincent, BSA and Norton. The 400 block will feature “The Best of the Best” and the tribute to Cobra’s 50th anniversary.

The Rodeo Drive Concours d´Elegance, which has been named one of the “300 Unmissable Events & Festivals Around the World” by top travel publisher Frommer´s, is free and open to the public.
