Zuma Celebrates 10 Years of Success

The renowned restaurant Zuma in London’s Knighsbridge is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this year. Zuma was the vision of Chef Rainer Becker, who was inspired after living in Tokyo for six years as executive chef at the Park Hyatt Hotel.

London’s Zuma is so hot that new couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were spotted dining there May 16. It opened in 2002 and was the first of the now nine hugely successful Zuma restaurants around the world, including a destination in Hong Kong, Istanbul, Dubai, Miami and Bangkok.

The Zuma concept focuses on a fun, informal dining experience that creates a relaxed energy. The cuisine comes from three kitchens: the main kitchen, the sushi counter and the robata grill. Signature and original dishes include the Thinly Sliced Seabass with Yuzu, Truffle Oil and Salmon Roe and the Spicy Beef Tenderloin with Sesame, Red Chili and Sweet Soy.
