The 100-foot super catamaran dubbed ‘Q5′ just rolled out of Auckland-based shipyard Yachting Developments’ Hobsonville factory, where the company is putting the finishing touches on the sleek vessel.
The Southern Spars carbon mast has been fitted and tuned, and sails made by Doyle NZ are to be fitted in the coming days. Yachting Developments used high-strength, weight saving composite materials, going beyond the strict GL class survey requirements.
