SunFest Kicks Off Tomorrow In Palm Beach

Sunfest, Florida’s largest waterfront festival kicks off tomorrow in downtown West Palm Beach at the Intercoastal Seaway.  The festival, which runs until May 6, has over 50 bands playing, including Wiz Khalifa, Passion Pit, Snoop Dogg, Counting Crows and Girl Talk.

Along with the impressive lineup of concerts, Sunfest has a bunch of “Sunfestivities” all day and night.  Join the scallywags over at Captain Morgan’s “Floating Oasis” at the seawall and try some of the signature drinks they’ll be serving up.  A word to the wise, rum, sun and flotillas may bring out your inner Jack Sparrow.

Other highlights at the festival include wine tastings in Trinity Park, a Verizon Wireless fireworks show on May 6 at 9pm and a Coors Light 3-D street art display.

The festival draws over 270,000 attendees annually during the first week of May and this is its 30th year since it was founded in 1982.
