Party for the Preakness at Siro’s of Manhattan this Saturday

Still nursing that Kentucky Derby hangover?  Rebound! Because this Saturday, May 19, is the 137th Preakness in Baltimore and New York’s Siro’s of Manhattan is hosting its first annual “Preakness Stakes Race Party.”

The NYC transplant of Siro’s in Saratoga will bring out the racing crowd with half off drinks, $3.50 bar snacks-jalapeno poppers, chicken fingers, pizza, etc.- and if I’ll Have Another wins the race, Siro will by a round of drinks for everyone.  Lets go I’ll Have Another!

Siro’s of Manhattan which opened earlier this month brings the spirited horse racing culture of its Saratoga restaurant, which has been in business for 75 years, and adds New York sophistication to the space. Siro’s is the first restaurant to bring authentic horseracing culture to the Manhattan restaurant scene and has attracted the attention of celebrity investors such as Mariano Rivera, Kevin Dillon, and Kevin Connelly. The kitchen is headed by former Siro’s of Saratoga Chef Brady Dillon, and the bar features cocktails designed by Kyle Ford of Ford Mixology Lab fame.

Festivities begin at 3 and run until 7:30, Siro of Manhattan is in Midtown on 2nd Ave. between 47th and 48th St.
