‘Lovely, Rich Family’ Buys Huguette Clark’s 5th Avenue Pad for $25.5 Million

Hedge funder Boaz Weinstein and his wife Tali–a “lovely, rich” couple per a source in the New York Post–have purchased one of the three apartments that belonged to intensely reclusive heiress and philanthropist Huguette Clark at 907 Fifth Avenue. The elusive Clark, who died last year at 104 after all but vanishing from the public eye in 1930, spent little to no time in the 14-room, 12th-floor home that offers 100 feet of Central Park views, nor in the other two apartments she claimed in the building. (907 Fifth’s co-op board recently rejected the prime minister of Qatar’s application to buy and combine a pair of former Clark properties on the eighth floor to the tune of $31.5 million.)

Weinstein was just written up in the New York Times for craftily taking early advantage of trouble in the London division of J.P. Morgan that led to the firm’s $2 billion loss announced earlier this month.
