35th Annual Exploratorium Awards Dinner
On May 8, 2012 at 6:30 pm, the Exploratorium located at 3601 Lyon St. will kick off its evening with the 35th Annual Awards Dinner to honor several individuals that have inspired many for some time now. The fundraiser will be held within the Palace of Fine Arts where the Exploratorium will take a walk down memory lane from 1977 with ninety past recipients who have been honored with such wonderful accolades as the Public Understanding of Science Award, the Educator’s Award or the Director’s Award. All tickets are $500 and if interested in table sponsorships, the cost is approximately $5,000 to $50,000, but that’s not all, this fundraising event will be the last Awards Dinner to be held in the Palace of Fine Arts, making it a very memorable night for the Exploratorium.
