Veronica Swanson Beard, part of the duo behind the up-and-coming Veronica Beard line, will introduce the brand’s fall 2012 collection this Friday at Saks Fifth Avenue on San Francisco’s Union Square.
Swanson Beard is part of Napa’s Swanson Vineyard family and spent much of her childhood in San Francisco. She and her sister-in-law, Veronica Miele Beard, teamed up to launch Veronica Beard in 2010. Their modern, sophisticated pieces provide simple and stylish options for women with busy lifestyles – and, with a total of seven children between their own two families, plus full work and travel schedules, the pair understands their audience. Recent releases include a slim silk military jacket with leather trim, a playful seersucker peasant dress and a crepe de chine sleeveless blouse in a warm shade of coral.
The Veronica Beard show will hosted by Carol Bonnie, Sabrina Buell, Susan Dunlevy, Vanessa Getty, Kathryn Lasater, Allison Speer, Alexis Traina and Katie Traina. A portion of event proceeds benefit San Francisco Bay Humane Friends.
